Marion Smith Primrose Mini

So I haven't posted for a awhile, but I have so much to share. I have been starting projects and never finishing them. I felt guilty about this but I see other fellow crafters share my dilemna. It made me feel better. One of the things I have meant to complete is a mini book/album. I was so excited a few weeks ago when I saw my name here:

So anyway, this was just the reason I needed to complete a project. I was so greatful to win it that I just had to get it done! I spent the next weekend all on this little mini and I love how it came out. I used it for some of my favorite pictures from my wedding. I also used lots of Washi Tape throughout and I love that touch! I can see myself making another one of these as a gift for sure!

Some Moms have all the luck

I have to say, if there is one thing about my Mom that seems to be consistent, It's her luck. She has won SO many things I can't even count. Just from memory she has won Mini DVD players, Ipods, Cases of fancy Tea's, $10,000 and most recently, she won the giveaway on a Smash*aholics Facebook Group for Smashers! When I saw her name announced I was shocked, but literally laughed out loud and yelled, "AGAIN????!!!!!" But being the generous and thoughtful Mom she is, she allowed it to be sent to me to pick through, and save until she comes to visit and we can SMASH* together! Here is the video of the bits and embellishments we received.

This is my first post!!! Yay!!! Today I am posting a video of a mini book I am almost done with. I have a little bit more to embellish. I really enjoyed this project. I got the idea from a video I saw on YouTube, by Tonya Gibbs where she shares this very easy mini album using digital downloads from Marion Smith Designs. Find these pages here. It's great for newbies to mini's like me! I was able to get this done in one weekend, and for me that's fast!! I hope you enjoy and come back again!
